Habitat for Humanity International brings families and communities in need together with volunteers and resounces to build decent, affordable houses.
Church Relations

Blue Water Habitat for Humanity is a Christian housing ministry.  The work we do is guided God's call to serve others and to witness the gospel of Jesus Christ.  Churches of all sizes are welcome and needed to participate with Blue Water Habitat for Humanity, church partnerships help keep us focused on our call to Christian discipleship.

First and foremost, Blue Water Habitat for Humanity needs concerned congregations and people to join together in prayer for the mission and work we do.  We stand firm on our Christian roots and rely on prayer to carry us through as we work to eliminate substandard housing from our community and give families the opportunity to own their own home.  

Serve.
Blue Water Habitat for Humanity has many volunteer opportunities for individuals and groups.  Join together with members of your church and enjoy a day of fellowship on a Habitat jobsite.  See what opportunities we have for youth to serve or check out the Habitat for Humanity Vacation Bible School designed to share the Habitat ministry with our youngest supporters.  Or volunteer just to show God's love in action.  The ways are endless and the opportunities are rewarding.

Give.
As a non-profit there are many ways individuals and churches can support the mission of Blue Water Habitat.  All donations are fully tax deductible and like volunteering the ways of giving are endless.  Consider providing lunch for volunteers on a job site, or donating items to the ReStore when the church can no longer use them, or hold a ReStore drive.  Many of our church partners host annual Nail Sales to support our ministry, and project sponsorships are also available...consider all of the mission work you could support and be a part of right in your back yard!
