Habitat for Humanity International houses are sold with no profit made. Homeowners contribute "sweat equity" and house payments are recycled to build additional houses.

The Women Build Program empowers women to build Habitat for Humanity houses, enabling them to positively impact the lives of children by making home ownership a reality for families!  Poverty is a severe threat to children's health, growth and potential. Women can realize that they hold the solution in their hands' to move children out of poverty housing. Women need not wait for others to address substandard housing issues. They have the capability and determination to be part of the solution - one family at a time!

Pray for the success of the Women Build program.

Volunteer for construction, or in one of the many committee areas.

Women Build 2009!  Below are a few fundraisers and programs we are launching to help us raise the $80,000 needed to build a house in partnership with a local family in need.  Please take some time and review the items.  If you're interested, we'd love to have you join our group.  We are always in need of people interested in helping in any aspect.
Since we can not build until we have the funds raised, please contact Aubree Mayhew at 810-985-9080 ext. 205 if you are interested in construction only.  Your contact information will be added to our mailing list, and you will be contacted when our fundraising goal is met.
